EduSMS.ai is an AI-powered school management system SVB Tech Labs designed and built in-house — one platform for admissions, attendance, fees, exams and parent communication, with AI that surfaces student performance insights and flags at-risk students early.
The challenge
What needed solving.
Schools run on separate registers and spreadsheets: attendance in one book, fees in another, marks in a third. Reports take days, fee reconciliation eats hours, parents hear about problems late, and a struggling student is often noticed only at exam time.
How we built it
The build, step by step.
Step 01
One connected data model
We modelled students, classes, attendance, fees and results as one connected system so every module draws on the same source — and reports become instant.
Step 02
AI on top of real data
Because the data is connected, we layered AI that turns attendance and marks into performance reports and early at-risk warnings teachers can act on.
Step 03
A parent channel that's actually used
A real-time parent app surfaces attendance, results and notices directly, instead of relying on a diary or a crowded group chat.
Step 04
Online fees with less reconciliation
Online fee collection with receipts, automatic dues tracking, reminders and defaulter reports replaced manual follow-up.
