An SEO-first marketing site on Next.js 16 and Cloud Run

svbtechlabs.com is SVB Tech Labs' own marketing site, built to be fast and answer-engine friendly: Next.js 16 with the App Router, self-hosted fonts, rich structured data on every page, an MDX blog, and a Dockerized deploy to Google Cloud Run.

What needed solving.

A tech studio's own site has to prove the craft: load fast, read well to both people and search/answer engines, stay cheap to run, and be easy to extend with products, services and content — without a heavy CMS.

The build, step by step.

  1. Step 01

Content as a single source of truth

Products, services and SEO metadata live in typed data, so the visible page and its structured data (Organization, SoftwareApplication, FAQ, HowTo, Breadcrumb) can never disagree.

  2. Step 02

    Answer-engine ready

Deep product pages carry FAQ and HowTo schema, there's an llms.txt for answer engines, and an MDX blog targets real queries — so the site is quotable, not just crawlable.

  3. Step 03

    Fast by default

Self-hosted fonts, next/image in AVIF/WebP, static generation and a strict CSP keep it quick and secure without third-party bloat.

  4. Step 04

    Cheap, repeatable deploys

A multi-stage Docker build ships a standalone Next.js server to Google Cloud Run (Mumbai), which scales to zero and costs little at low traffic.
