SVB Tech Labs (“we,” “our,” or “us”) makes Pocket CRM, a companion Android app for businesses that use a WhatsApp CRM. It alerts team members when customers write, shows the conversation, and lets them reply and hand chats to each other. This policy explains what the app and its server keep, why, and for how long.
1. Information We Collect
- Your account: your email address and a hashed version of your password (never the password itself), the businesses you belong to and your role in each.
- Your devices: a push-notification identifier from Firebase for each phone you sign in on, the device platform, and the app or browser type of each signed-in session.
- Alerts: the text of each alert sent to you. Depending on the preview setting you choose, an alert may include a customer's name and part of their message.
- CRM connection: for each CRM an admin connects, its web address and an API key, encrypted before it is stored.
- Activity records: actions such as sending a reply or reassigning a chat: who did it, in which chat, and when. The text of replies is not kept in these records.
Conversations stay in your business's CRM. The app reads them from the CRM when you open a chat and does not keep a copy on our server. We do not use analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDKs.
2. How We Use It
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To send you alerts for the chats you are responsible for, respecting your quiet hours.
- To show chats and send your replies through your business's CRM.
- To keep a record of actions for your business's admins and for security.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for advertising or profiling.
3. Who We Share It With
- Your business's CRM, which you or your admin connected: chats are read from it and replies are sent through it.
- Service providers that run the service for us: Google Cloud (hosting, in India), Supabase (database and sign-in emails) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). They process data only to provide these services.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
4. How Long We Keep It
- Alerts and incoming event records are deleted after 7 days. The message text used to build an alert is removed as soon as the alert is sent.
- Your account data is kept until you delete your account.
- When you delete your account, your email address, password, devices, sessions, alerts and alert settings are erased straight away. Activity records stay, but no longer identify you.
5. Permissions, and Why
- Internet: to reach our server and, through it, your business's CRM.
- Notifications: to alert you when a customer writes or a chat is handed to you.
6. Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, CRM API keys are encrypted, and access to each business's data is limited to its members. Agents see only the chats assigned to them and unassigned chats.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Change what alerts show, or turn alerts off, in Settings → Notification preferences.
- Delete your account at any time: see how to delete your account.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, at the address below.
8. Children's Privacy
Pocket CRM is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
